Bubba Island Kush is a new Kush strain that has its origins in the USA. It was created by crossing a Grandaddy Purple x OG Kush hybrid with a pre-1998 Buba Kush reverted male plant. This is a potent indica-dominant strain with great resin production that can grow up to 1.5 metres indoors in perfect conditions.

Bubba Island Kush has got that special hash plant look with leaves that turn dark blue in the latter stages of the flowering period. Average heights for this plant indoors are around a metre although it's possible to grow larger plants in the right conditions and with a little skill and experience. This is a strain that is grown for its sheer quality rather than for the quantity of its harvest. Average flowering times are a little over 7 weeks and its buds have a very high density.
