Cherry Pie is an indica-dominant cross of the US strain Grandaddy Purple and the South African Durban Poison. Growers can expect dense, high-THC, trichome-packed buds with purple tones as well as very good yields.
Cultivated indoors, Cherry Pie plants are at the lower end of medium height at 80 - 100 cm. tall. In 55 - 65 days of flowering growers should see yields of 500 - 600 gr/m2. Outdoor plants are much bigger, reaching 200 - 250 cm. tall. Harvest time outdoors in the northern hemisphere will be during the last week of September and yields will be bigger than those indoors.
The dried buds have a fruity scent with a sweet/sour cherry note. With THC content of 22% the effect is a potent physical and cerebral hit that is also gentle without anxiety.
