Durban Poison is a cross of South African land-race Durban and an early Dutch Skunk strain. The result is sativa-dominant but with a short flowering time of 8 - 9 weeks.
Durban Poison is easy enough for beginner growers. THC levels will reach 15%, or a little higher, and flowering time will be 8 - 9 weeks depending on the precise phenotype. Durban Poison is a fast-flowering cultivar ideal for commercial growers. Yields of 450 g/m� can be harvested and when in flower the resin coated buds will become compact and rather elongated, filling each branch from top to bottom. A very good plant for using the Sea of Green method (SoG).
The terpene profile iblends fruity and floral and is earthy with a hint of aniseed. The effects are fast-acting, long-lasting and with a definite trippy edge. Intense levels of focus, motivation, energy and creativity are possible. Therapeutically useful for anxiety, depression and stress.
