Full Description

Grand Daddy Purple Feminised is a legendary strain bred by Ken Estes. A cross of Purple Urkle and Big Bud, these seeds from 00 Seeds are derived from a cutting of the original US strain. These plants boast great colour, a mouthwatering flavour and a highly analgesic effect for therapeutic consumers. Suitable for cultivation indoors and outdoors.

Indoor growers are advised to employ the Sea of Green (SoG) technique; 16 plants/m2 with 4 weeks of vegetative growth with no apical pruning. After the switch to flowering pruning of the lower branches can be safely executed during the first two weeks of florescence. In this way a hefty central cola can be developed. Indoor yields are about 450 gr/m2 in an 8 - 10 week flowering period, depending on phenotype. Use a light and airy soil mix and allow to dry out between waterings.

Outdoor yields are between 300 - 600 gr/plant with harvest due in the first half of October or April in the northern or southern hemisphere respectively. This is a great strain with which to make extracts.

Both scent and flavour are of grapes and wild berries, smooth and delicious. Extracts are very fruity. THC levels are around 20% but this is enhanced considerably by the 'entourage effect' of all the cannabinoids and terpenes working together. Despite its indica heritage, Grand Daddy Purple is not an especially physically hard-hitting strain but one with a very relaxing high with profoundly analgesic properties.
