New York City Auto is a mostly sativa strain and is a popular choice with growers. It is a mould resistant strain and grows many side-branches with a plethora of budding sites. Potent effect and good-sized harvests.
Auto New York City grows to 60 - 30 cm tall and has a good yield of 500 - 550 gr/m2 when grown indoors under 600 watt grow-lights. Its flowering time is about 56 days making a total of approximately 67 - 70 days from the seedling stage. Outdoors it can give yields of as much as 120 gr/plant although flowering is not quite as fast at 67 days or so. The buds are not as dense as indica-dominant strains but resin production is high and the calyx to leaf ratio means that manicuring is almost effortless.
