The Sherbinskis / Silent Seeds collaboration branches out into autoflowering strains with this Pink Sunset Auto. Produced by crossing Pink Sunset with Bacio Gelato Auto, Pink Sunset Auto carries over the organoleptic qualities of the Pink Panties / Florida OG derived Gelato line.
Pink Sunset Auto, in common with other autoflowering strains, benefits from plenty of root space and light. Use pots of at least 11 litres and don't pot-up as the plants grow. Plenty of light ensures a vigorous vegetative growth in the first three weeks followed by a successful florescence. Whichever substrate is used for cultivation should be light and airy to aid an efficient metabolism. Plants grown outdoors should have both good drainage and unrestricted sun exposure for the best results.
The complete life-cycle from germination through to harvest is completed in 80 - 90 days. Plants have a short internodal length ensuring plenty of bud sites. Indoors, plants will produce yields of 525 - 550 gr/m2. Outdoors, in the northern hemisphere, the harvest window is between the end of June through until late October, depending on local conditions, and each plant can yield between 115 - 265 gr. from plants that grow to a height of 80 - 130 cm.
Sweet, iced-dessert flavours with fuel and lemon notes flood the palate. THC levels are not as high as the photoperiod version but nevertheless are significant at between 20 - 23%. CBD, meanwhile, remains less than 0.2%. The overall effect is one of a happy and uplifting high albeit somewhat more physically relaxing than its photoperiod predecessor due to the inclusion of ruderalis genetics.
