Polar Gelato is another result of the collaborative effort between Silent Seeds and Sherbinskis. Polar Gelato is a cross between Bacio Gelato and Sunset Sherbet and is a large plant when cultivated outdoors, between 260 - 280 cm. Growers can look forward to high yields of very potent buds.
With a well-prepared vegetative growth period, not exceeding three weeks indoors, growers will reap excellent rewards. A system of tutors or netting should be installed before the end of this 3-week period so that the weighty buds and long branches will be protected from snapping during the latter stages of florescence. The large leaves grow in high quantity so that growers will want to defoliate to allow for better light penetration as well as aiding air circulation.
Indoors, plants will take 58 - 63 days to complete flowering with yields in the region of 600 gr/m2. Plants cultivated outdoors will be ready for harvest during late September, early October in the northern hemisphere with each plant able to yield 1450 - 1600 gr/plant. Mature buds are rounded, dense and thickly-covered with trichomes.
