The Cocaine & Crack Cocaine EZ Test Kit is designed to identify the presence of cocaine and crack cocaine in a sample. It can also be used to test substances suspected to be 5-MeO-MiPT (Moxy) and MDPV, giving it a specific role in checking samples where cocaine or related compounds may be present. The kit is intended to provide a quick indication of the substance through a simple reagent-based test.

The test uses Scott reagent in a sealed ampoule and produces a visual reaction when a sample is added. In the presence of cocaine or crack cocaine, the reagent forms a characteristic blue flaky precipitate, which can then be compared against the included colour chart to help interpret the result. This gives the kit a clear and recognisable reaction pattern for cocaine detection, while also helping distinguish it from other substances that may be suspected.

Unlike the full three-stage laboratory version of Scott’s test, this kit uses a simplified format designed for easier interpretation with the included chart. The additional laboratory stages involving hydrochloric acid and chloroform are not included, so the result should always be read using the guidance supplied with the kit rather than external references.
