AK-420 Feminised is a new version of the well-known strain AK-47. AK-420 is 65% sativa and was bred from Colombian, Mexican, Thai, and Afghani landrace strains. Growers from novice to experienced levels will be able to obtain a good harvest.
AK-420 can be grown indoors as well as outdoors in warm, sunny climates such as a Mediterranean one. Plants are short in the vegetative growth period but stretch in flower reaching between 80 - 140 cm. Indoors, flowering lasts for 50 - 65 days with yields of 450 - 500 gr/m2. Indoor growers will need effective carbon filters as the scent during flowering is very pungent.
Outdoors, plants grow a bit taller producing up to 550 gr/plant. Growth is bushy with good leaf development and it is advised to prune leaves to allow light to penetrate better and improve air circulation through the canopy. Buds are light green with orange hairs and an open structure typical of plants with a sativa dominance. Plants adapt well to the SCRoG technique.
Floral scents can have strong tropical notes. The dried and cured buds exude a rich range of scents that include sandalwood, spice, caramel, and coffee. The effect is uplifting and creative while also being quite relaxing.
