Califunk is an indica-dominant hybrid cannabis strain that brings together the best of California. It has no less than five distinguished, elite parent strains, viz. Triangle Kush, Zkittlez, Gelato #41, Kush Mints and Pure Afghani. Growers can anticipate very big yields of extremely tasty buds whether grown indoors or outdoors.

Califunk grows into a robust, Xmas-tree shaped plant, reaching a height of 110 - 140 cm. indoors. When cultivated in an outdoor setting, especially when planted with its roots in the ground, Califunk plants can grow much larger than indoor plants. Indoor flowering times are in the region of 8 - 9 weeks with bountiful yields of 550 - 650 gr/m2. This strain's strong smell will require the use of good, efficient carbon filters.

Plants have a good flower to leaf ratio such that defoliation should be all but unnecessary. Plants can be topped once or twice to control growth and this is also a good strain for SoG (sea of Green) type of grows. This is an excellent strain for all extraction methods. For smoking/vaping as weed it is recommended to dry for 12 - 15 days before a two week cure forthe best flavours and smoothness.

When cured well Califunk has rich complex flavours that include gas, fruit, mint and cream. The effects are very potent and long-lasting, best enjoyed in the evening or last thing at night as they are profoundly physically relaxing.
