Cannalope Haze Regular was bred from a Haze Brothers strain and a Mexican Michoacan variety. Cannalope Haze is 95% sativa yet is a fast finisher producing good yields of hard buds.
Cannalope Haze stretches quite a bit during its flowering phase and so indoor growers without a lot of headroom are advised to switch to 12/12 after a very short period of vegetative growth to avoid issues. It grows in a Christmas tree shape and is suitable for a Sea of Green set-up. This plant does not like to be either over or under-fed although its nutrient requirements are not high by any means. It is advised not to prune heavily. The flowering time is 8 - 9 weeks which is very fast for such a predominantly sativa strain and yields are good at between 500 - 600 gr/m2 under 600 watt lights.
The dried and cured buds are hard and compact for a sativa and exude an aroma of sweet melon. The smoke is smooth and sweet/sour tasting with a hint of Haze spiciness. The smoke is very expansive in the lungs and the effect is a very uplifting
