Gelato 45 Feminised is a specially selected example of crossing Sunset Sherbet and Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies. It is a 60% indica strain with great flavours, high yields and powerful effect.
Indoors, Gelato #45 grows to a height of 100 - 120 cm. tall yielding between 650 - 700 gr/m2 in a 70 day flowering period. Grown outdoors, plants grow rather taller, reaching a height of 200 - 250 cm. and producing as much as 1500 - 2000 gr/plant with northern hemisphere harvests being ready during October.
Gelato 45 is a forgiving and resilient plant that is also highly adaptable to differing grow media and cultivation techniques. In the right hands and conditions this is a very colourful strain with the early lime and olive green leaves giving way to a rich selection of purple, red and orange shades in the buds themselves. Buds are elliptical in shape and dense with amber pistils and golden trichomes while resin production is heavy.
A complex terpene profile reveals sweet scents of mint-chocolate ice cream and sweet berries while the palate features earthy pine, floral, Skunk and citrus. No THC figures are currently available athough this is a very potent strain with an effect that is relaxing, euphoric and mood enhancing.
