Harlequin CBD 40:1 is a sativa-dominant strain that produces CBD:THC in the ratio 40:1 following an intensive process of selection. Harlequin is a descendant of a Nepali indica, Colombian Gold sativa and another couple of strains from Thailand and Switzerland. This is a therapeutically useful cannabis strain that is easy to grow.
Being a sativa-dominant strain means that plants can grow quite tall given sufficient root space to stretch out. The flowering period indoors is between 7 - 9 weeks, quite fast for a sativa, with high yields of about 450 gr/m2 or more.
The scent of Harlequin 40:1 is quite earthy due to the high proportion of myrcene. Pinene and caryophyllene add notes of pine and pepper respectively. The effect is calming and soothing, and it is said to be helpful with the symptoms of pain, stress and anxiety.
