Passion #1 is an outdoor strain that was originally developed in California in the 1970s and which found its way to Holland some time during the 1980s. It is an indica cannabis strain that is not only stable but also very easy to cultivate even for first time growers.

Passion #1 can be grown very successfully outdoors and in greenhouses. It also does well indoors but growers will need a lot of space for a successful grow. If planted early in the season it can reach a height of 3.5 meters tall but if planted later in the season 2 meters is a good average height for this strain. The fact that it has been a feature of the Dutch Passion range for so long says much about its staying power and continuing popularity; outdoors in the higher latitudes of regions such as northern Europe growers come back year after year for it.

It is a plant with good to very good yields varying between 250 gr/plant for smaller plants right up to 750 gr/plant for the larger specimens. Due to its fast flowering time plants should be fully mature during September in northern latitudes. When grown indoors the flowering time is a lightening quick 6 weeks! Buds are long and compact and drip with resin; so much so that it is advised by Dutch Passion to only trim the larger shade leaves as the smaller ones are covered in THC-bearing crystals which are good to make extracts with.

The taste has a very soft and gentle quality with a fresh citrus note and the effect from its measured 18.6% THC is fast-acting with an uplifting
