Purple OG Punch is a medium-to-large, 80% indica variety with high levels of THC. The original Purple Punch is a cross of Larry OG and Granddaddy Purple while this Purple OG Punch from Super Sativa Seed Club (SSSC) is an S1 of the original Purple Punch clone that expresses OG characteristics.
Purple OG Punch is quite easy to grow indoors and outdoors in warmer climates although a greenhouse can also be used where temperatures are cooler. It is very suited to the SoG method but can also be adapted to SCRoG if given a longer period of vegetative growth to fill the canopy as an indica strain such as this will not undergo a great deal of stretch once switched to flowering mode.
Flowering times are around 7 - 8 weeks and at maturity the dense, rock-hard buds have a completely white appearance due to the sheer quantity of resin. The average grower will harvest in the region of 450 gr/m2 although more experienced, skillful growers may obtain 500 - 600 gr/m2.
Buds are dense so make sure there's plenty of air circulation to help ward off mould. This strain has a sweet, fruity taste of grapes and berries with a creamy note. The potent effect is stoned and relaxing for both mind and body.
