Lineage Genetics' Purple Punch was originally only available as a promotional strain exclusively for customers in the US. Its popularity resulted in it being made available for sale to customers in other regions. The genetics are the original Granddaddy Purple Kush (2003) crossed with Lineage Genetics' own True OG strain. High THC content coupled to large yields make this an interesting 80% indica hybrid.
Suitable for both indoor and outdoor cultivation, growers can expect to harvest large, dense, purple and green buds covered in trichomes. Indoors, flowering times are 52 - 60 days with yields between 500 - 600 gr/m2. When grown outdoors Purple Punch can produce as much as 800 - 1000 gr/plant with northern latitude harvests ready some time during October depending on local conditions.
Purple Punch has a markedly grape-y scent and a sweet, fruity flavour. THC levels are high at around 20% while CBD has been measured at 0.58%. The effect is powerful and relaxing in typical indica style.
