Screwdriver OG is a sativa-dominant hybrid strain with parentage of Purple Punch with a strain called Clementine. Screwdriver OG has a loud terpene profile and produces very high yields in a relatively seeds_plant_height=seeds_plant_height=Tall flowering time for a plant with such a high proportion of sativa genetics.
Screwdriver OG can be grown indoors and outdoors in warm, sunny, Mediterranean-type climates. Plants have an open structure, but the shade leaves are big and broad, like those of an indica. Some occasional defoliation may be needed to boost yields as will using a SCRoG (Screen of Green) set-up where branches are 'layered' horizonseeds_plant_height=seeds_plant_height=Tally to increase production as bud sites grow upwards to form small colas. Carbon filters are advised during the flowering stage as these plants can get very smelly.
Indoors, plants can reach a height of 180 cm. generating yields of 500 - 600 gr/m2 in 60 - 70 days of flowering. Side branches may need support as the buds can grow in large and heavy clusters, although small individually, with the risk of snapping the slender sativa stems. Larger outdoor plants can yield 600 gr. each or even more. Buds have a conical shape and are dense and chunky, light olive-green in colour and decorated with bright orange pistils.
The scent is pungent and citrus-like, while the flavour is sweet and redolent of both citrus and tropical fruits, including grapefruit, lime, orange and pineapple. The effect is powerful, uplifting and creatively energising - great for enhancing motivation levels all day long.
