The Synthetic Cannabinoids EZ Test Kit is designed to detect a wide range of synthetic cannabinoids, sometimes referred to as Spice or K2, including compounds such as JWH-018, JWH-073, JWH-081, JWH-200, JWH-250, CP-55/940, CP-47/497, and AM-694. It is intended as a more specialised addition to the EZ Test range for checking samples that may contain synthetic cannabinoid receptor agonists (SCRAs) rather than natural cannabis compounds.

The test works by producing a colour change when a sample is added to the reagent in the ampoule. That reaction is then compared against the included chart to help indicate whether specific synthetic cannabinoids may be present. This gives the kit a straightforward visual result format for identifying common Spice, K2, and JWH/CP-series compounds through the supplied colour reference.

Because there is a wide variety of synthetic cannabinoids available, the kit cannot guarantee detection of every type currently in circulation. Even so, it is designed to cover a broad range of well-known compounds in this category, making it particularly relevant where samples may have been adulterated with synthetic cannabinoids or where SCRAs are suspected.
