Purple Urkle is an indica-dominant strain (80%) originating from California. It is the result of a selection of a particular Mendocino Purps phenotype. Other than its attractive purple colouration it offers high THC and good yields with a fruity flavour.
When grown indoors Purple Urkle flowers in 55 - 60 days with yields expected to be in the region of 350 - 400 gr/m2. Outdoors in northern latitudes harvest time will be during September with each plant capable of producing between 750 - 1000 gr.
Its sweet taste is reminiscent of ripe tropical fruits and grapes with a fruity Skunk-influenced background note. THC levels are 20% with less than 1% CBD. Its effect is powerfully relaxing both mentally and physically and is best left until the evening as it has a certain couch-lock quality.
