Amaretto Tarmac Feminised is an 80% sativa cannabis strain that resulted from crossing Amaretto Sour with Apollo Black Cherry. Suitable for all levels of growers, Amaretto Tarmac is a high-yielding variety, potent and cerebral in effect.
Somewhat unusually for such a sativa-dominant strain, Amaretto Tarmac doesn't become in the least bit 'unruly' and is well-suited to indoor cultivation, having more of an indica structure. Indoor flowering times are around 8 weeks with yields likely to be in the region of 450 - 500gr/m2. Lollipopping is strongly-recommended as this allows all of the plants' energies to be concentrated in the upper branches to obtain the best yields. Outdoors, in the northern hemisphere, harvest is due in late September / early October, with each plant capable of producing as much as 800gr.
The terpenes provide an aroma of juicy cherry, complemented by notes of camphor and pine giving an earthy and refreshing counterpoint. The flavour is earthy, with tarmac and notes of cherries, blueberries, and kola nuts. THC content is more than 20% and the effect is cerebral, euphoric, motivating and full of creative energy.
Therapeutic applications include treating the symptoms of depression, stress, and muscle pain.
