The breeding programme crossed Solomatic CBD with the pure sativa genetics of Durban Poison to create a hybrid with 75% sativa genetics, 20% indica, and 5% ruderalis. Royal CBDV Auto produces dense and resinous buds in 8 - 9 weeks from germination. Indoor plants grow to a height of 70 - 80 cm. producing up to 450g/m². Their small size means that a small grow-tent or cupboard provides enough room for cultivation. Outdoors plants grow taller at 80 - 100 cm. and producing 110 - 150g/plant.
